December Flowers

Hello! This is a 5-part block of the month (sort of, four different blocks and intervals of five weeks). You will use several techniques in constructing it. There will be set-in piecing, foundation piecing and some bias edge seams, all doable even for beginners with a little willingness to try something new.

This could easily be a scrappy lap quilt or topper of Christmas fabrics or any color scheme you prefer. Mine will be in Christmas colors and yes, I will making it along with you - just one step ahead.

Fabric requirements for a set color scheme are in the first installment. For the scrappy quilt, you’ll be able to figure out how much you need as you cut the pieces for each block. If you decide to join in on the fun, you’ll need Adobe Acrobat reader to get the instructions. Happy quilting!
